The proposal establishes a new east–west public axis within the urban landscape, widening access points to the museum complex so that visitors can more easily enjoy the park beside the existing building. A pavilion along this route defines a new gathering space and houses a cafeteria.

Rather than creating a visual landmark, the proposal seeks to engage in dialogue with the existing museum and its landmark tower. As visitors enter the park, they encounter a subtle void carved into the ground whose narrow proportions echo the tall tower – almost as though it were its shadow. The void piques curiosity, inviting exploration of the hidden intervention below ground.

The proposal offers, first and foremost, an urban connection through which its subterranean presence is gradually and experientially revealed.
